PISA has incepted a ‘Be a Responsible Citizen” Campaign to engage the citizens into a dialogue on what it means to be a responsible citizen. The campaign aims to align the dialogue with PISA mandate of creating awareness on what it means to be a good citizen. This is to foster the citizens’ participation in creating an informed and responsible society. The campaign targets all citizens irrespective of age and gender.

Among the communication channels adopted for this campaign are newspaper columns. One newspaper has been identified to insert a column that discusses the issues that relate to being a good citizen. The columnist will be any neutral and uncontroversial figure in the country who cannot not attract any political stigma to PISA.

This is because PISA is apolitical and is not an advocacy programme hence a need to distance any of its involvement in political views.
